Successful Quiz Night for KMMS

SARD recently hosted a Charity Quiz Night, ‘Trivia-ectomy: Getting Answers Out of You’, in support of the Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS) located at the University of Kent in Canterbury. The event was held at the school’s own Pears building which brought in KMMS students and faculty as well as others from the local community.

The evening was a huge success raising over £2,200 which has been donated to KMMS. Our original quiz host, Angela Barnes, was unable to make the event, but SARD’s trusty Quiz Master Christy Hinchliffe stepped into the role.

Local businesses throughout Kent donated prizes for our raffle including a star prize of a stay in the luxurious Nightingale Suite in the newly opened White Horse Hotel in Boughton-Under-Blean.

The overall winners of the quiz were a team from Kent Community NHS Trust who blazed their way to glory through their knowledge of obscure UK laws and popular UK crisps and snacks.
